About Me

I’m Jyde, a passionate personal trainer with nearly five years of experience, dedicated to helping people like you build strength, tone up, and reach fitness goals that go beyond just looking good but feeling incredible. I don’t just track numbers; I track real, measurable progress that reflects the hard work you put in. Fitness is my life, and it’s been a journey of self-improvement, starting with my own transformation.
I don’t believe in chasing some social media “perfect body” I believe in…
building confidence and helping people develop a physique that genuinely makes them feel proud. Growing up with two older sisters gave me a unique understanding of how to train women, respecting their individuality and the challenges they face when it comes to fitness. As a Bengali, I also get how cultural backgrounds shape our approach to training, nutrition, and motivation. I adapt my methods so that every client, no matter where they’re from, feels supported, understood, and empowered. When I’m not in the gym, I’m probably hanging out with animals huskies, to be specific. I had two of my own, and they taught me a lot about patience, discipline, and the value of trust. These qualities guide how I approach coaching. Much like training a dog, building a strong body takes consistency and trust. I’m also dyslexic, which means I get how tough learning can be. That’s why I created Akaib POV, a platform that focuses on making learning visual, clear, and engaging. Whether it’s fitness or any other skill, education should never be overwhelming, and I want to make sure you have everything you need to succeed. Through Akaib Fitness, I craft programs that are simple, structured, and tailored to your unique needs. Whether you’re building muscle, improving endurance, or finding the right balance between strength and aesthetics, I’m here to guide you every step of the way. I have had around 12 sessions with Jyde so far. When I started my fitness journey, my goal was to increase mass, lose fat in problem areas and have a sculpted body like his which I aspire to!
Jyde is an incredibly genuine, down to earth warm and open minded soul. Our workouts are fun but boy does he know how to push me and some days I feel broken afterwards! But as they say, no pain no gain! I’ve hit milestones at the gym which wouldn’t have been possible if it wasn’t for him pushing me. As a result I’ve seen some amazing changes in my body. Most importantly, working out with Jyde is fun and he knows way too much about my life that I think he should become my therapist too! My ultimate goal was to workout whilst keeping it fun and not be on a super strict diet of bland foods. I have that freedom and am able to maintain a good relationship with food, my social life and still see incredible results in a short period of time. This is one of the key reasons I have kept going without losing my motivation. I’ve had so many compliments at a recent BBQ in regards to my body from friends who haven’t seen me in a while. I can see changes myself too. I am now described as “muscley”, which no one has ever said before! I appreciate that Jyde understands my goal isn’t about having an 8 pack, it’s about feeling good about who I am, having fun during our workouts and enjoying my life. So if you’ve ever thought about getting yourself a PT, it’s a fantastic personal investment when you have someone like Jyde. Give him a try. You have nothing to lose… other than inches!

Strength was my ultimate goal in my fitness journey and after 12 sessions with Jyde, I’m seeing the improvements week after week! I started working with Jyde to primarily focus on my upper body strength and after hearing his programme structure, I was a little taken aback by the intensity. But session after session, I felt my strength growing; coming hand in hand with my confidence and I couldn’t be more proud of my journey so far! Jyde is a fun and genuine trainer who I felt comfortable and at ease with immediately. He pushed my limits to another level (and to tears on one occasion!) and now the results are insane. Not only has he helped me to hit new PRs almost every week, but my physique is beginning to change drastically. The definition around my arms and core can no doubt be attributed to his gruelling training. Yes, I wake up stiff and broken but the satisfaction after an amazing session is inevitable when training with Jyde.
His training is unique in that he incorporates different exercises each session in order to provide a holistic approach to training muscle groups. The variety adds an exciting element every time and as a novice, Jyde gave me a great insight into proper form and technique as well as suitable alternatives for beginners.
When working with Jyde, expect intense sessions as well as a lot of laughter as he finds the perfect balance between intensity and fun when training. He’s a perfect investment if you’re thinking about strength training and believe me, the results will shine in a few weeks time.

I'm not usually one to write reviews but I've had an amazing experience training with Jyde over the past few months! As someone who loves running I used to stick to the cardio machines in the gym, and I was pretty clueless about the benefits of weight training for improving my strength and endurance. I was skeptical at first but Jyde really opened my eyes to the value of lifting weights - my shin splits have disappeared, I've consistently hit pbs while running and my overall confidence has improved massively !! Jyde is an incredible personal trainer - he listens and tailors the programme to your specific goals, he's super knowledgeable and creative with the training sessions, and has pushed me to achieve results that I never thought were possible. We always have a laugh together while training which makes it more enjoyable and takes the edge off the burn. I would highly recommend to anyone looking to explore weight training and improve their general relationship with exercise!

A few months into joining the gym, I was doing my workout on the machines and Jyde kindly offered to advise me on how to use the machine and correct my form! Since then Jyde has been my PT. Jyde is extremely knowledgeable in his training and explains how each exercise works on different parts of the body. Training with Jyde has encouraged me to get the best results from using the weights and machines, being disciplined with the repetitions when training with weights, training has also helped me with my self confidence. I would never had thought having a PT would be so much fun, Jyde will make you laugh and distract you when you are doing an intense workout so you don't notice how hard he is actually making you work, Jyde is supportive when you need a friend to chat to, and to be honest this training with Jyde has changed my life in many ways, and I couldn't be more thankful or grateful for having such an intelligent, focused and caring PT. Amazing PT !!
Gym are great and do as well, but when we don't do it for so many years we need that pick me up. I found my one in the Gym, PT Jyde. My mental health wasn't great and physical way worse. When we go to the gym we are not going just to be healthy and look good but do be confident. Jyde was and is the greatest PT I ever meet, pushing until the limit, making us laugh while we are going thru hard exercises and being there as a friend too. I always looked forward to my sessions as after a month I started to beat my personal best with his support. Having exercises and routines that helped with my lower back pain was amazing! And not only I won strength from the sessions with Jyde but as well I reduced my intake of caffeine, yeah I can sleep my 8h a day now !!! As well i have reduce by less then a half the amount of cigarettes I used to have before My sleeping became better, my breathing better, I started to have way more strength and resistance then before in such a short period of time, it's amazing what he can do! Not only this ... after years I can say that today for the first time I can dress tight clothes and be proud of myself and feel good with myself too not just physically but mentally too. Can walk with a correct poster (that I didn't had until meeting Jyde) and much more Jyde was very professional and knew how to take us to our limit, every session I would be beating my personal best thanks to him, one thing that you will see Jyde is not just a PT he becomes your friend ... yes I suffer a little bit in the beginning with my strength and physic .. but after a frustrating day having a time with him and exercise and talk at the same time was the best therapy I could ever had. Plus that he would check on daily basis how I would be feeling in relation to pain or soreness I, something I actually never experienced before with other PT's. So thank you Jyde for everything! If there is the best PT in UK I would nominate you to being the champion!

If motivation, flexibility, and a personal approach is what your looking for in a PT, then Jyde is the man for you! Jyde is focused on helping me achieve my goals and makes every session challenging (& somehow fun). My fitness has increased noticeably and I've seen improvements in my ability to complete more exercises, lift progressively & generally push myself harder throughout each session. I find I actually look forward to my workouts. Importantly: He ensures that my technique is always correct to avoid any injuries. He is extremely reliable & punctual - always ready to start training ahead of time, with an exercise routine planned.I thoroughly enjoy working out and would recommend Jyde to anyone looking to improve their fitness with a dedicated personal trainer.

Jyde is the BEST PT out there I was training for roughly a year before I started training with Jyde I felt myself starting to plateau and my motivation to go to the gym was lacking as I began to find it boring and repetitive. Then Jyde came along and changed everything. I train with him three days a week and every single session is brutal and I'm always drenched with sweat by the end of them. His training methods are incredible, every single session I am getting stronger and hitting new numbers and PBs, and I can feel my endurance and confidence growing. Don't get me wrong, this guy is a savage in the gym, but he is also kind, funny, encouraging and makes every session really fun and engaging. His knowledge and technique about each exercise is really impressive and his passion for fitness is admirable. He is also always punctual and organized, and keeps track of all my progress to push me every session. I don't doubt that I will continue to get stronger and better in the gym and plan to continue training with Jyde for years to come (sorry Jyde lol)
